BioMy name is Kerrianne, although it wasn't when I started this journal and so my username is slightly different.
I am a wanderer in the wilderness, like everyone, seeking some kind of sense of place and power. I am always in transition, and know I always will be, because once one arrives at a destination the next journey has already been embarked upon. I am trying to dissolve into the river instead of kicking against the current. It's not easy because it feels like drowning...but letting go is the way to truth.
If you were to cut me in half and count the rings there should be 51 of them. Many of them will be weak and wavering, because I have shied from the world. My birth certificate says M (for now), my heart, mind, and soul (and now my driver's license!) say F. I have awoken from a long dark sleep and the sparkling dreams I had all along have iginited my spirit at last. I am blossoming into the woman I always was but could only dream to be. My journey has brought me new strength, deep love, and the realization that I share this universe with some very incredible, loving, kind souls.
I live on the edges of the west coast rainforest, in a quaint little house we call Skookumshack, with my best friend and partner in life, Carol, and our beloved 'furkids', Luna (woof!) and Samsun (meow).
Together we are all going through some major, positive changes, and my journal here is largely a place to record and process our journeys.
Respect, compassion, and tolerance are huge for me, and as I try to give that to others, I expect it back.
In the centre of all I do, feel and think, is a search for universal truth and belonging.
